Eating out in Ölüdeniz

One of the joys of eating out in this region is the sheer sociability of the Locals.

In Fethiye area there are many, many restaurants to choose from and there's something to suit all pockets. These are just a few of our favourites.

Recommending a personal favourite is always difficult as anywhere can have an 'off' night but even so here goes - I'll tell you about my favourite watering holes and eateries.

La Mare Italian Restaurant
La Mare Restaurant - Oludeniz

A beautiful alfresco Italian in Oludeniz, this sublime restaurant offers an extensive menu including not only several classics (think spag bol and thin based pizzas) but also numerous speciality chicken and meat dishes. This restaurant only opened in 2007 but is already one of the most popular in Oludeniz. Make sure you pay a visit.

Sultan Pepper
Sultan Pepper Restaurant

This fabulous restaurant offers fine India cuisine as well as more traditional Turkish. Try their ‘eat as much as you want’ open buffet evenings which offer excellent value for the great quality and variety of food for you o sample.

Sultan Ahmet Restaurant

Simply the best traditional Turkish food available in Oludeniz . Sample the kebab or try something a bit different. Sultan Ahmet has a great variety of vegetarian dishes as well as numerous meat and fish. Not to be missed on your holiday in Turkey. .

Rose Cafe & Garden
Rose Cafe

This is a small and very friendly café by day, a fun and lively bar by night. There is a good menu available with a mixture of international dishes. The food is good quality and good value for money. You will find this great little place a couple of minutes walk away from the main ‘strip’ in Oludeniz, away from the beach.

Secret Garden Restaurant

Help is everything to everybody...Quick drink, long cocktails, light snacks, long lazy lunch, crazy dinner and dancing.
A fabulous place right on the sea front. The restaurant is open all day long with the beautiful and diffrent athmosphere.

Secret Garden
Secret Garden Restaurant

A wonderful setting in a hidden garden as the name indicates. Situated in a side street away from the shopping precinct an not obvious to the tourists who can't be bothered to look. The food is great and service excellent. A nice atmosphere which could be described as romantic. Definitely a couples restaurant rather than a family one. Slightly more expensive than some others in the resort..

Kervan Saray
Kervansaray Kayakoy

Set in the heart of Kaya village, Kaya Park is an eating experience not to be missed during your time in Turkey.  This is a real family restaurant with a difference. Select your meat and cook it on your own barbecue by your table, or in your private ‘tree house’.  The food is fresh and very good value for money and you can stay the whole day making dining at Kaya Park a great day out, not just a meal.

Sun Cafe
Sun Cafe

This restaurant has a small, friendly feel, despite being one of the larger cafes in Oludeniz. The Suncafe is directly on the beach front in Oludeniz, and is popular for meals from breakfast through until dinner. It has a good menu of hearty meals and snacks at reasonable cost, although you will notice that restaurants on the beach front are more expensive than those a little further away. This is a great place to sit and watch the sunset or the paragliders landing on the beach while sipping your cocktails (or milkshakes- they are lovely!)

Tequila Bar
Tequila Bar

You will notice that many of the good time night time bars are almost deserted during the daytimes, but the Tequila bar has a unique quality of offering quiet and peaceful drinks during the day, and coming alive with fun in the evenings. You will find this bar towards the top end of the main strip in Oludeniz. Look out for the cactus- you can’t miss it!

A small friendly family owned pizza restaurant in the heart of Oludeniz, owned and run entirely with family members of ‘Joseph’! Fabulous pizzas and a great menu offering meat and pasta dishes. There is also a good snack menu for lunchtimes and lighter dining.
